Dynamics 365 & Power Platform UK Virtual User Group

This month we saw the launch of the new Dynamics 365 & Power Platform UK Virtual user group, which I was lucky enough to have the opportunity of speaking at. In my session, I discussed a very basic introduction to Microsoft’s approach to Low Code with the Power Platform.

We looked at how to take advantage of a SharePoint list template to save time building a schema where there might already be something useful, then we built out a Power Apps solution, a Power Automate item triggered flow and a Power BI report from that SharePoint List.

Check out the user group session below, as well as an awesome session from Keith Whatling on everything you need to know about Business Process Flows!

An enormous thank you goes to the organisers of this event, Tricia Sinclair, Matt Collins-Jones, Narayan Solanki, and Mike Hartley, you’re all amazing!

London Automation Summit

On the 20th, I was lucky to attend and speak at the awesome London Automation Summit at Microsoft’s offices. In my session I delivered an introduction to Microsoft Graph, where we discussed a number of things…

If you didn’t manage to attend the event but want to learn about the topic I discussed, take a look at this first post as part of the series I’ve been writing recently on Microsoft Graph.

An enormous thank you to Raz Choudry and others in the community for putting together this fantastic event!

Recording Power Platform Connections

I was incredibly lucky this month to be invited by David Warner and Hugo Bernier to make an appearance and be interviewed about food, cars, community and more on Power Platform Connnections!

Check out the awesome episode below with loads of mentions to some awesome community contributors too!

Series on Microsoft Graph

Finally, this month I’ve been writing a long series on working with Microsoft Graph and the Power Platform. So far we’ve covered an introduction to Microsoft Graph, some content on context and using contextual data to deliver impact with our low code solutions, as well as whether to work with delegated or application permissions and how to work with delegated permissions.

With lots more content to come in this series, make sure you’re subscribed to my blog to get all the latest from me, directly in your inbox.
