So in yesterday’s blog post, I spoke about the new preview ability to create AI prompts in Power Platform to use across apps and flows you build for your organisation! But perhaps I didn’t quite leave you with enough motivation or ideas as to what you can do with this yet… 🤔

Well look no further than this post where I’ll give you 5 super fun AI prompts you can built into Power Platform today! If you didn’t read yesterdays post on AI prompts in Power Platform, check it out now! 🥰

Anyway, without further chat or talk, here’s 5 fun prompts you can create in Power Platform today for your app makers to get playing with! 🤩

Poem generator

Okay so the first prompt we can create is to build a poem generator which makers can use in either their apps or flows. For this one all we need to write into the prompt is…

“You are a creative poet who should write a poem with four to five stanzas about [POEM SUBJECT]”

In the above prompt, replace Poem subject with a dynamic input value for this which users will then populate to have their poem returned.

Song writer

The next prompt we can use in AI prompts for makers to have fun with is…

“You are a pop singer and song writer. You should now write a song about [SONG SUBJECT]”

In the above prompt, replace song subject with a dynamic value for this which users will populate to have the song on their topic written! You could also make pop a dynamic value for genre if you want to give your users more flexibility.

The comedian

The next prompt we could create for makers to build fun apps and flows with is one I’m naming ‘The comedian’! This prompt will go along the lines of…

“You are a funny comedian who should tell quick, snappy jokes. Tell me a joke about [JOKE SUBJECT]”

In the above prompt, replace joke subject with a dynamic value users can populate to get a joke that is right for them. You could also make the type of joke i.e. quick, snappy, a dynamic value to give users more flexibility over the type of joke that they will get out of the LLM.

The fortune teller

So here’s another one we could build into Power Platform which is a fortune teller model! The prompt for this will look something like…

“You are a fortune teller who should tell me about my future. Tell me about… [INPUT]”

Using the dynamic input value, users should finish this prompt with something relevant to their future like “what I will do for work in the next 5 years?”. This kind of example may require some UI prompting to ensure users write the correct prompt.

The story teller

So the final fun prompt we can create to build fun apps and flows with is…

“You are a fun, exciting, story teller. You should now tell me a story about [SUBJECT], targeted at ages [AGES].”

So for this prompt I’ve included two dynamic values. Here users can suggest the subject of the story they want as well as the age it should be suitable for. The output of this prompt when used in apps and flows will be a story on the subject requested and suitable for the age provided!

What are you creating?

And there you go friends! There’s 5 fun prompts you could build into Power Platform with AI prompts. Hopefully this gives you a better idea as to what you could be building with AI prompts in Power Platform! 🚀 Let me know in the comments what you’re creating with AI prompts! 🤩
